Money is for some the ultimate measure. For this very same reason a lot of people act as if its not important and choose to accept or endure a life less fulfilled, and concentrate on things like spirituality, their health, relationships etc - all of which are tremendously important.

However, the truth is we are one homogeneous being - one. We can only be as strong, as whole, as fulfilled as our weakest link. If we perceive ourselves to be weak in one area, then this will be apparent in other areas of our life too.

The answer is to grab the bull by the horns and decide to address and master, once and for all "your" financial destiny. Its a game that you can learn and become extremely good at when you start paying attention and intend that you will succeed.

So here's where you begin -

1) set a strong, clear and definable goal that is measured in time and space. For example, "by 20th May 2012 I will have in my Universal Bank account 1,000,000 or more or sooner."

Magic, that's step one - clear? Set your strong and easy to measure cash goal for a definite point in the future,

2) Work out your plan. Where are you going with this? What are you going to sell. High end/high margin product or relatively low volume or lower end/ lower margin high volume?

If you're making one pound every time you make a sale then you're going to need to do that 1 million times. When you can make 10 every time you make a sale then its going to take 100,000 sales.

And it goes on, a 100 net profit will require 10,000 sales to hit the target, and a 1,000 net profit will take 1,000 sales to make the million.

Now its definable, figure out where your strengths lie. Which one is it going to most feasible for you to do - high margin/ lower volume or lower margin/ big volume.

For many businesses today, particularly those involved in direct or internet marketing its a combination of both. You see the game is to get customers and initial point of sale profits aren't especially relevant as the objective is build a list or database of buyers and then upsell them to higher profit products.

So the bottom line is figure out your route to the money.

3) work that plan - start getting it done. Once you know what you want, and have some concept or idea as to how you can attain it, (it doesn't need to be overly exact or precise), the secret is to get started.

When you have the guts to get started and can jump into the fray, and make it happen,then you'll learn the rest of what you need to crack your goal. Just remember "winners never quit, and quitters never win."
