3 Steps To Better Eyesight

I started wearing glasses more than 2 decades ago. At first it was a mere -0.5 but it gradually increases over the years to -5.00. Of course, I was told by the guy in white coat that if I want to prevent my eyesight from getting worse, I have to wear my glasses at all times.

So you can imagine my surprise when I needed to change glasses every year or so. I was 8 years old. It wasn't until 5 years ago that I started questioning the accepted view that your eyesight could not be improved - and thus the world of natural vision improvement opened up for me.

I researched the subject intensively. In this article, I will introduce you to the 3 most important concepts of natural vision improvement and how you can use them to naturally improve your eyesight. With that said, let's get started.

Step 1:Realize that eye exercise are not meant to "strengthen" weak eye muscles. On the contrary, it is meant to relax it. Vision deterioration is caused by eye muscles that are chronically tensed - mostly due to the constant strain that we place on them.

Some of the things strain our eye muscles include staring, leering and refusing to rest when our eyes are tired. This is equivalent to resting even when your muscles are sore from weight lifting!

Step 2: Your brain has as much to do with seeing as your eyes. Technically speaking, your eyes aren't even the ones that "see". Light rays passes through them and all they do is encode those light rays into a signal.

That signal is then passed on to your brain, who then decodes the signal and generates the images that you see. Thus if your brain is malfunctioning, you couldn't see either.

I sincerely believe one should look first to correct the brain when it comes to natural vision improvement. The constant pressure we place ourselves in can place unconscious strain on our eyes that is the root of our vision problems.

Step 3: Admit it, most of us aren't born with myopia. Neither did our eyesight deteriorated to the way it is over night. It took years and years of constant bad vision habits. Keyword: habits.

To improve your eyesight, you have to get rid of the habits that got you there first. And you and I both know that habits are hard to kick. The good news is, by religiously practicing eye exercises, you can unconsciously pick up the principles of good vision habits.
