3 Reasons Why Cutting Contact With Your Ex Is The Best Way To Get Him Back

If you've been reading any of my other articles, you'll probably have noticed that one thing I drill in over and over again is that severing contact with your ex after the breakup is not just a great idea but almost essential if you want to get him back relatively easily. Here are several reasons why that is:


1) After a breakup just happens, there's a lot of emotion flying around. Panic, anger, jealousy...they're all pretty common and perfectly natural things to feel when you get dumped. What you don't want to do is let them come out on your ex, because that'll pretty much ruin your shot at pulling off a happy resolution with him. Taking about a month's time away from your ex will keep you from lashing out during your most emotionally unstable time.


2) Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but if there's never any absence there's never an opportunity for that to happen. If you stick close to your ex after the breakup, he never really gets to feel what life is like without you. Being absent from his life will cause him to stop thinking so much about the bad things in your relationship and start to think about the good things that he misses and no longer has. More than likely he'll start to feel some of the loneliness you do, and this may result in him becoming a lot more friendly to the idea of getting back together with you.


3) Being away from him for awhile will let you have a chance to reorganize yourself as well. You can sit down with yourself and really figure out where you stand and how you feel about pursuing a relationship with him. If you decide that you do want to do this, then this time can be used to form a plan of how you intend to do that. You can determine just what you're going to need to do to get him back, and by the time the month goes by you should be well on your way to achieving whatever goals you set for yourself.
