Xbox 360 is a video game console that has great features including the one that allows players to compete online, download games and view other multimedia. Just like any electronic gadgets, the xbox 360 is not exempted to technical problems. Here are the common problems associated with xbox 360 console with ways on how to fix them.

Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 are flashing red

If all 4 sections are flashing red, it means that your AV cable is not connected properly. If you have obserbed this problem, you just make sure that the AV cable is connected properly to the xbox 360 console. Make adjustmentsa like disconnecting the AV cable then reconnecting it again the AV cable to the xbox 360 console. If the problem still persists after doing the first to remedies, you may opt to wipe the metal area of the AV pack with a dry cloth. If all else fails, try getting a different AV cable then connect it to the xbox 360 console.

Sections 1, 3, and 4 are flashing red

If sections 1, 3 and 4 are flashing red, it means a general hardware failure. YOu may need to check the secondary error codes for this problem. things you might try to fix this problem include restarting the xbox 360 console. If that doesn't work, try turning off the console, remove all the power and AV from the console then unplug the power cord. Plug again all the cables then try turning on the console. If it still doesn't work, turn off the console then remove the hard drive, then turn the console on again. If the 3 lights are no longer flashing, turn the console off, then return the hard drive, then turn it on again afterwards.

If sections 1 and 3 are flashing red, it means it's overheating. Overheating can be sometimes brought about by the console locking up after a specific time, although locks that can occur at certain points are problems of the game itself and is not related to overheating. If you observe this problem, allow the xbox 360 console to cool, you may have to wait at leat several hours for the console to cool. Be sure not to turn it on if it's still hot enough. Make sure also that the console has enough ventilation to speed up the cooling pocess.

It's best to be familiar with this errors for you to make a diagnosis, then find measures on how to fix them on order to preserve your console's function.
