It's always the same request when I ask my clients if there is a particular theme they would like the workouts to have: burn off the muffin top! When it comes to having a flat stomach and no love handles, this is the area most women want to concentrate on, but few actually do.

For one, realize what you have to do. I know you've seen all the ab targeting machines on the commercials and in stores, but very few, if any will actually help you hit the goals you have... because you can't pick and choose where your body burns fat. Unfortunately doing exercises that target the stomach is going to only help develop the muscles that lay underneath the fat but it won't actually burn the pillow of fat off.

A Solid Workout Plan Is A Must. Having your workout plans in front of you when you hit the gym makes it so much easier, you know what you have to do... there is no time to waste. It allows you to work harder and have a more efficient workout. To be a bit more specific, there are two workouts you should include in a plan: cardiovascular and strength training. Paired together, they will help you increase your metabolism so you burn more body fat throughout the day and burn off that dreaded muffin top for good.

Clean Diets Should Be #1. The food you eat accounts for roughly 80% of how your body looks. You might see people working out hard all the time, but their bodies don't look like it... that's probably why. If you eat junk, your body will look like you eat junk. Healthy eating is a long term habit not a short term diet plan.

Motivate Yourself. Why is it that most women don't hit their goals of dropping fat? Motivation! If you're not seeing the results you want or something happens in your life (vacation, job, family), it's too easy to give up on yourself and forget about your goals. Start by writing down your goals and put them where you can see them. Then jot down why you want to achieve them... how will you feel? And last but not least, prepare. Prepare your workout clothes, get your meals ready in advanced and write it on the calendar.
