3 Anti-procrastination Motivators To Create Competent Decisiveness

"There is no such thing as free time."
Julie Morgenstern

Time management tips can be utilized in a variety of new ways. What do you want to do with time you find? How vivid is your image of using your recently found time? And what are you willing to give up in return?

The last question is of utmost importance. Because any time you "find" is taken away from an activity you have chosen.

It is never free time. You always pay for it.

Once you decide to pay full price, right now, for your new time choice by giving up a current time choice, you are exercising your power to change your life. And every time you change your time choices, you change your life.

Or do you wish to hold out for the vague possibility of "cheaper" time? "Perhaps time choices later won't require that I give up as much," you may reason. You would rather not close any door to open another. If so, you will pay the price of the procrastinator.

Will You Act or Procrastinate? You Decide:

Procrastination Problem #1: Procrastinators fall short of the necessary level of commitment to change.

Your Action Alternative: Commit now.

Like the famed Chinese general Xiang Yu in the third century B.C., decisive individuals "burn their ships" as they cross the rivers to new land, to erase any temptation to retreat. Decide now. Commit. Move forward.

Procrastination Problem #2: Procrastinators squander their potential by waiting for a better deal.

Your Action Alternative: Engage now.

Living fully each moment, giving everything you have, is the opposite of sitting on the sidelines, waiting for a bargain basement special on time. The sooner you change, the sooner you generate results.

Procrastination Problem #3: Procrastinators hand over the power of their lives to circumstances beyond their control.

Your Action Alternative: Claim your power now.

You are unstoppable when you are willing to pay full price for the life you value the most. When you truly value your life, you live in real time. You pay now for your new activities by relinquishing your former options. You, not outer circumstances, determine how you use your time.

Welcome your opportunity to live your life to its fullest, while keeping your big picture in mind. You will not only find time as you continually exercise your power of choice, you will also create a stronger, more confident self.

What is your next powerful choice to live more decisively and to find more time?
