Our philosophy here at IELS is to ensure that each student has fun whilst learning English. Our academic programme is specifically designed for teenagers and delivered through our team of dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic teachers. Here at IELS, we focus on developing the students confidence and fluency at speaking English.


English Language Programme
The General English course consists of 20 lessons per week having a maximum of 12 students per class. Teaching materials, especially designed for youth programmes, are used to improve English language abilities. Our academic programme is specifically designed for teenagers and delivered through our team of dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic teachers. The academic Our English programme involves structured conversation work, listening, reading and writing, combined with fun activities. At the end of the course each student will receive a personalised certificate as a record of their successful English language studies.

Please note that fully supervised, fun and safe activities are available upon request.


Accommodation Options

Host Family
When students choose to stay with one of our host families, they will feel the pure essence of warm hospitality and experience a home away from home and at the same time practice their English with their new second family.

The IELS Accommodation team carefully select our host families and visit them regularly to ensure that only high standards are maintained. Most of our host families are conveniently situated in Sliema and the neighbouring districts of our various schools, in order that our students do not have to take any form of transport.


Days Inn Residence
The Days Inn, our own student residence, is located only 10 minutes walking distance. As an IELS student residence, Days Inn has a 24-hour reception service ensuring our students safety, comfort and convenience. Next to the reception, there is a large open plan student area equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi service and furnished with comfortable sofas and tables. This provides IELS students with a conducive international study and social environment.
