Review: "2001 Maniacs" is invented to be a recreate of Herschell Gordon Lewis' "Two Thousand Maniacs". While I maintain in no way seen with the aim of film, the snag with "2001 Maniacs" is with the aim of it's too predictable. .

The story follows 2 separate groups of adolescent citizens who are headed to Daytona Beach Fl. In place of spring break. Lin Shaye gives a high-quality performance as Granny Boone despite some degree of screen schedule.

Cons: With the exception of Robert Englund as Mayor Buckman The villains weren't badass an adequate amount, and like I acknowledged in the periodical everything is spelled barred to the viewer too quickly as to pardon? Will go on to these kids and how. I besides did not like the end and the procession of measures which prime up to the films final end gone me shaking my head.

Overall: Average horror film with the aim of has a a small number of items which save it from being a calculate surplus of schedule. Worth a rental whilst it hits dvd protest 28th.
