2 Kinds Of Diabetes Types Of Diabetes

Diabetes is a disease which is hereditary and is activated by eating too much sweet. Our family has been suffering form diabetes for a long time now but we dont even know that there are two types of diabetes until I have found it online. Back in those days we would just be contented on knowing that my mother is suffering from diabetes and she needed to be injected with insulin.

Type 1 Diabetes
This is sometimes called the juvenile diabetes because most of the people that are getting this are children. It is said that the pancreas is either producing a little insulin at a time or no insulin at all. Back then everyone thought that this is only present on younger people but as time is passing by doctors have found out that this is also possible with older men. People who got this type of diabetes should inject insulin two to three times a day which makes it harder for anyone who is carrying this type of diabetes. For those who is not aware of diabetes, you have to have a fasting for at least five hours before testing yourself of your blood sugar level. If your blood sugar gets to high then you will feel weak and will be experiencing a headache. When your blood sugar got to low, you might get yourself into comatose. Knowing that you need to pump two times of insulin daily, you should monitor your blood sugar almost two times a day.

Under type 1 diabetes, you will usually drop your weight even without even trying, while this is a good thing for anyone without the disease. This is not to be proud for anyone with diabetes.


Type 2 Diabetes

The doctor said that both my mother and I are suffering from this disease since we don not really need to intake insulin in a single day. My mother who is taking insulin only needs it because she wasnt as active as me. I am not claiming that I am an active person but I do exercise right on my own home. I have my own equipment for this.

This is the most common type of diabetes; in this type the pancreas is still producing insulin but it only produces a minimal number of insulin that it is not sufficient enough for the supply of the bodys need. A person who is 35 and older is the ones who are usually develop this kind of diabetes as they are the ones who are overweight. That was back in those days were most people are still active but now in these generations teenagers are getting lazy that even they are getting a type 2 diabetes. A proof of younger who is getting this type of diabetes is me. I am only 29 when I was diagnosed of having diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes can be controlled by exercising and by controlling what you eat and how much food are you eating. A proof of this is me who can control it by exercising at home but there are someday that I am also taking metformin. As I have said before that my mother is taking both metformin and insulin because she is not active as me.
