2 Kinds Of Drinks That You Should Avoid If You Are Experiencing Hemorrhoids

By:

Some people have erroneous belief that once they use expensive medications ,or that once they go for an expensive hemorrhoid surgery, they've taken such extreme measures that they don't have to worry about their diet in the future.

Well, that can only be true if you do not mind having a re-occurrence of the awful symptoms of pile again and going through the whole painful, embarrassing mess again.

For any hemorrhoids cure to really work, a good and ongoing hemorrhoids diet is a must. Further, a good hemorrhoids diet can also extend you lifespan and make you generally healthier.

The consequences of a poor hemorrhoids diet can be pretty dire. Some people have a genetic tendency to hemorrhoids, and they are likely to get hemorrhoids early on if they eat a bad hemorrhoids diet.

Other people just find that their digestion gets less efficient and their hemorrhoidal tissues get less resilient as they get older, which means that a poor hemorrhoids diet will produce more and more hemorrhoids as time goes on.

Poor nutrition generally, also has systemic consequences, including decreased vein resiliency and a greater tendency to all sorts of disease like heart diseases, diabetes etc. The appearance of the symptoms of hemorrhoids are often a red flag that the body's balance is slipping and needs correcting before more serious ailments set in.

Because what you drink has just as much of an effect on a hemorrhoids diet as food, it's important to choose the right drinks to consume so that the kind of drinks that you consume do not negate all the good effects of the right foods that you are eating.

These are two kinds of drinks that you should avoid as they could worsen your hemorrhoid symptoms:

1-Caffeinated drinks; Caffeine often causes the body to lose water through excessive urination and it can also trigger off diarrhea, which of course is not good for hemorrhoids.

In addition, caffeine relaxes the internal anal sphincter muscles, causing the supporting tissues of the hemorrhoidal area to be lax. Caffeine also interferes with the function of your circulatory system, causing veins to shrink when you take it and dilate when you're coming down off of it.

2-Alcoholic drinks: Alcohol causes its own set of hemorrhoid problems, such as causing excessive urination and water loss, it also decreases the urge to have a bowel movement on time. Alcohol just adds empty calories while also at the same time causing great havoc to your nervous system.

Strictly speaking, neither caffeine nor alcohol helps with hemorrhoids and neither of them belong in a hemorrhoids diet.
