10 Ways To Improve Your Marriage By Celebrating National Candy Month

By:

Marriage is more exciting when you have something to celebrate together. National Candy Month is something fun to do together.

Quick before June is over and your chance to celebrate National Candy Month is gone; bring home the goodies.

Start by finding out what your spouses favorite candy is. Is there a confection that makes their mouth water and their mouth turn up in a smile? Is there a candy from childhood that they miss and think doesn't exist any more? Do you have a candy or candy bar that you buy and share on special occasions?

Eating and sharing candy can enhance your marriage relationship. Receiving candy as a gift can expresses love. Some people say that chocolate is an aphrodisiac because it lifts your mood and makes you feel happy. Just the smell of your favorite candy can bring back pleasant memories and return you to feelings of connection to your partner.

Here are some fun ways to finish out the month celebrating National Candy Month.

10 ways to celebrate National Candy Month and improve your marriage at the same time:

1. Wrap a bow around your spouses favorite candy and surprise them with it.
2. Find out what their favorite candy as a youngster was, take them to the park, sit in the swings and present them with it. Have a blast sharing it and swinging together.
3. Make homemade candy together. Try pull taffy (honey taffy) for something fun to do together or make one of your favorites.
4. Put a bag of Cinnamon bears under their windshield at work with a note telling them that you are hot for them. (be sure to sign it. You wouldn't want anyone else getting credit.)
5. Go on a date to a candy store and try something you have never had before. (We tried this and experienced chocolate covered potato chips and Cheetos.)
6. Make a poster using candy bars to spell out a message to your sweetheart.
7. Play a game of guess that candy. Blind fold your spouse and have them guess what candy you give them. Slowly feed them small pieces for a bit of romantic fun.
8. Fill a jar with candy and then have a contest guessing how many pieces there are in the jar.
9. Have a candy treasure hunt. You hid his favorite candies and he can hide yours or your kids can hide both.
10. Sit on the porch together and indulge some chocolate or your favorite candy and just relax together for a while!

However you celebrate National Candy Month I hope it sweetens your relationship!
