If you have waited for that perfect time to fulfill your life's wishes, you have probably concluded that the perfect time has never come. Stop putting it off and seize the day. And if you are struggling to come up with activities to spice up your life, here is a list of things to do before you are 40. Why 40 you may be asking? Most of these activities require some physical prowess and you'll want to participate in these events when you're still physically able to do so. But no one said they aren't possible at 50, 60 or even 70. Go ahead, show us what you're made of.

Sky Dive

Run a marathon

Sail
It's the oldest form of transportation in the world. The wind and sails have enabled travelers to see the world for hundreds of years. Whether you buy or rent or hire someone to take you for a ride, experience the air as no other while sailing.

Surf
It doesn't take much to experience the waves on any coast. Grab a board and ride the waves! Some beaches are known for better surfing than some, so do your research and get caught in a wave.

Scuba
You need to be professionally trained before your first dive, and you will want to know how to do it right, but it will be worth the time and money. Some great sites are available off the coast of Mexico. You'll see underwater like you never have before.

Bike the Pacific Coast Highway
This highway is famous for its views and picturesque panorama of the California coast. See it like you never have before by biking its length.

Climb a volcano
The choice is yours whether you want to find an active volcano or not, but seeing it up close and personal is sure to be very interesting.

Ride something bigger than a horse
Take a safari vacation and ride an elephant or a desert trip and ride a giant camel. The world will look a lot different from your new perspective.
