9. Pay-per-click advertising. Google's Adwords program allows you to place an advert within the search results. When a user clicks on that advert and comes to your website, you're charged a small amount on your Adwords account. Coupled with SEO, this is a great marketing tool.

10. Keep it steady. If you push your SEO too far, you may incur the wrath of the search engines and your customers. You'll need to take care with Twitter, too. If you tweet too much or only tweet blatant advertising, you'll lose followers and customers.
