How do the majority of users understand China's 3G? Will they buy the 3G? This Internet consumer research center made a research on Internet users.

In this survey, the participation rate of male users accounted for 91.4% and 21 to 30-year-old users accounted for 66.6%. Analysts of the industry say that this is due to that the majority of users in the IT websites are the young men. The income level of users concentrated in 1000 to 3000 yuan. From the point of view of the users' understanding about 3G, 56.3% of Internet users said that they had a better understanding of the 3G and they know 3G's six major services on the list.

From the point of view of the users' demand for 3G, 55.4% of the users said that they are most interested in the wireless internet service provided by 3G. It is the most urgent need.

From the point of view that whether the users will choose 3G, 66.8% of the users said they would choose 3G services. 51.6% of users choose the monthly bill be less than 50 yuan. 40.6% of the users choose 50 to 100 yuan.

Now 35% of users have 3G phones. When asked which operator has more technical advantages, the number of users that support of China Mobile TD-SCDMA and China Unicom's WCDMA are very close.

3G in China is a new thing. The first time that users get access to 3G should be on the April 1, 2008. One year later, the three operators that have obtained 3G licenses are beginning to test their own pace of business. Thus, network services at anytime and anywhere will be the development platform of all services in the era of 3G.

Analysts of the industry say that although the 3G trial cost of the three major operators is relatively high, it can not be accepted by the public. The public's wait and see mood is strong. But the great development of 3G in China is the only way for China's telecommunications industry. Only after the network building and technique is mature and the cost of 3G services is reduced, then it is the real development period of 3G in China. Analysts also say that the network services at anytime and anywhere will be the development platform of all services in the era of 3G.
