'conquer The Internet' Team Suggest Some Wordpress Plug-ins

Online marketing starts with a professional blog. A blog is like your home on the internet. You can get great SEO if you know how to set it up right.

Setting up a blog is not that hard, but I will do another post on that at a later time. This post is in reference that I got from one of my "Conquer the Internet"team members.

The question was, "I hear a lot about Wordpress plug-ins, but how do I know which ones to use?" I will list the ones I think are important for self-syndication.

All in One SEO Pack is the first one on the list. In the online marketing world you are fighting for great search engine ranking.

The second one is Disqus Comment System. Disqus will replace the Wordpress comment system. Here is how it works. You post on Facebook that you just updated your blog. Someone clicks on your link. When they post a comment on your blog, it is posted on their Facebook page, as well. If they came from Twitter the comment system works the same.

Can you see how powerful that is? You can really get more exposure this way. People will see their comments and go check out your blog for themselves. That gets you more traffic to your site, and it is a good way to get self-syndication.

The next plug-in is WP Greet Box. It is only a box at the top of your blog that greets people depending where they came from. It may say don't forget to follow me on Twitter, or make sure you sign up for my RSS feed. This is another good way to get self-syndication, too. Visitors will leave one site and go to another following you.

The last plug in I want to stress to you is Wordpress Database Backup. Don't make the same mistake I made. I lost everything that was on my site, because I did not back it up. I thought my hosting company would have kept a backup, but I was wrong. So learn from my mistake and backup your material.

These are just some of the Wordpress plug ins that the "Conquer the Internet" team use. We are trying out more. I will post an update soon.
