Who Is Going To Use A Mist Humidifier?

By:

In many areas around the world, and especially in cold countries, where we warm our homes for long periods of time (3 -6 months to a year, depending on location) the heating systems we use tend to dry the air so much so that there is not enough moisture to reach the minimum level of needs for the human body.
Many of the heating systems we use today create dry air during the heating process. Another reason to use Mist Humidifier is part of the treatment of asthma, asthma patients may benefit more than a normal person if supported with the corect level of humitiy usualy between 35 and 55% relative humidity. This level of humidity seems to work best for most people depending on there particular needs.
Warm mist humidifiers will probably have a more benificial effect on people with breathing problems than cool mist humidifiers. Useing a humidifier on a regular basis reduces the problems of dry skin, chapped lips and reduces the likelihood of children and the elderly getting sick, especially those with respiratory problems living in dry air conditions.
Using a humidifier that has a filter may be a little more expensive but in my oppinion they are well worth it as they will kill off most of the bacteria and mould spores and also help preventnt the build up of minerals (seen as a white dust) and this will help prevent these blowing around in the mist created and help prolong the life of the mist humidifier itself.
Mist Humidifiers can also help prevent the cracking of wood, so if you have any antique funature or musical instruments around the home a mist humidifier
