Employers or labor unions found in violation of this act have to answer to a court of law and possibly pay fees or damages to make it up to the employee.

New york labor law posters are likely to detail some information on the allowance of fringe benefits, such as vacation pay, paid sick leave, etc. In new york there is no regulation requiring an employer to provide any kind of paid leave or vacation unless they promise to do so at the time of employing a worker.
