The Centre for Supply Chain Management at LIBA inculcates theoretical and practical learning among new generation managers in manufacturing and service sectors; especially for IT professionals who design solutions in handling critical supply network issues. Focus is on the use of more productive practices in engineering design, manufacture and movement of goods.
Delivering the welcoming address, Dr.P.Chandiran, Associate Professor Supply Chain & Operations Management said, It is an immense pleasure having with us with Mr. Mark McGregor today and we are all looking forward for a great session. Internet is revolutionizing the supply chain process. The internet enabled supply chain provides visibility and effective information to supply chain decision makers. With the growth of Internet based businesses, the importance of e-logistics and e-fulfillment gains more importance. As Information is one of the key drivers of supply chain performance, it is right time for us to provide a platform to discuss and disseminate the knowledge in this area. As a step towards this initiative, we have organized this Thought Leadership program.'

Speaking about Creating and Managing E- Supply Chains, Mr. Mark McGregor said, Supply chains need to focus more than just on the information technology. Supply chains with an integrated view of purpose, people, process, technology and program have more probability of success.
