Laptop Review - Dell Vostro Series

Gone are the days when the norm was that business can only be done in the office. Dell made this series of laptops to be able to resist leaks, moisture, and is to some extent. It has a feature that disables the drive when the laptop is a state of free fall, in order to prevent data loss. The Dell Vostro series laptops are also relatively lightweight and not bulky. Long distance and wireless functionality is the laptops come with security software that is useful for preventing the release of vital information. The size of the screen is available from 8.9 "to 17" and its range of AMD processors to Intel Core Duo. There is not a choice of laptop that fits all. The buyer would have to consider the specific tasks that the laptop will be properly processed. The Dell Vostro series is easy to upgrade, so if your business needs change, it would be easily remedied. The Dell Vostro series is preferred by a majority of the entrepreneurs and working professionals as a result of these features listed above. The consumer laptops would be covered by some entrepreneurs are trying to accomplish. Still, high-end business notebooks to be an overkill. The Vostro 1320, 1520 and 1720 were released on April 2, 2009. Meanwhile, the Vostro A860 went on sale on November 13, 2008, and the Vostro A90 was released on April 15, 2009. Vostro 1220 The Vostro 1220 is nearly as small as a netbook, but it has features that only laptops can offer. The battery also lasts much longer than netbooks. The Vostro 1220 is able to cope well with daily office work, but the screen is too small to be effective to do editing. With intensive use, the Vostro 1220 only run for three hours. The keyboard feels just too cramped and the keys are not as responsive as we would have liked. Given the very low priced, we are not surprised that we are not impressed. In a mass of mostly black notebooks, we welcome the claret-colored cover and black base. Opening various Office applications simultaneously was uneventful. The Vostro 1320 can handle the workload well. Photos and other multimedia editing can be done with no hassle too. We do not like it was only a 2-hour battery life and the keyboard does not provide much comfort. The display is topnotch and this makes watching videos and viewing photos a pleasure. With a 17 "screen, multitasking and document comparison is easy. The keyboard is comfortable for a long time and typing can be done without cramping. Battery life is sufficient, even if heavily used. The display measures 8.9 "and while most business users would probably not pick up, because there is such thing as too small, there will be people who just buy it for that function. Vostro A90 delivers images that are sharp and clear. The processing speed is limited. The appearance is run-of-the-mill and not conceal a low-end model. We think that two ports is not enough and will have serious problems later. Since the USB ports are located on the left, a wired mouse would be used by a right-handed person prove to be a problem. The processor may not be the fastest, but if your tasks are limited to browsing and office applications, it should be enough.
