How To Create Html Signature In Ms Outlook 2007

Microsoft Outlook 2007 in no doubt is an amazing, lightweight, and easy-to-use email client. This is the most frequently used email client among professionals, novice users, and home users as well. Graphical User Interface (GUI) of MS Outlook 2007 is comparatively easier to use than previous versions of MS Outlook. However, using Outlook 2007 is quite easy and more user friendly than Outlook 2003 and earlier versions, one of the flaws in Outlook 2007 is lack of the option for creating HTML signature. Creating signature was very simple with Outlook 2003 but Outlook 2007 does not provide any option to design and include HTML signature by default to all new emails, to emails you reply to, and to forwarded emails.

It is a very common question of various users of Outlook 2007 that how to create HTML signature in Outlook 2007. However, there is no option available in Outlook 2007 for creating HTML signature, you can still create and use HTML signature as your default email signature. Execute following steps to design signature:

1. Open a text editor like Notepad, MS Word, etc.

2. Type your name, address, contacts, email address, photo, etc. in the editor as signature detail.

3. Select the Save As option in the File menu.

4. Browse a location to save the signature.

5. Type a name for the signature in the File name field.

6. Select.html in the Save as type field.

7. Click the Save button to save the file at the destined location.

Now, when you have successfully created HTML signature, consider below given steps to include that signature in your Outlook 2007 profile to set as default email signature:

1. Start MS Outlook 2007.

2. Select Options in the Tools menu.

3. Select the Mail Format tab.

4. Click the Signatures button.

5. Click the New button.

6. Type a name for the signature in the New Signature dialog box and click the OK button.

7. Open the HTML signature (that you have recently created) using any Web browser like Internet explorer, Mozilla, etc.

8. Press the CTRL + A key to select the signature data.

9. Press the CTRL + C key to copy the selected data.

10. Now, point the mouse pointer in the Edit Signature section in the Signatures and Stationery dialog box.

11. Press the CTRL + V key to paste the signature data in the Edit Signature section.

12. Select the newly created signature in the New messages drop-down list.

13. Select the newly created signature in the Replies/forwards drop-down list.

14. Click the OK button.

15. Click the OK button.
