How To Create A Custom Navy Ring

By:

Those of you who have served in the US Navy or have loved ones who have served or currently serve have the right to create a custom Navy Military Ring to tell the story of the time that you have sacrificed for the defense of your country. The US Navy is diverse in that there are so many different types of jobs and occupations that the Sailor can have and we can find a way to help to display just about each and every one.

We recommend that you determine exactly what you want your ring to say before you attempt to put it together. Once you know what you want to tell the world about your time in service figuring out how to show it on your ring is easy.

When you begin to create your Navy Ring the very first thing that you need to think about is the type of metal that you want the ring to be made of. Many will choose Gold but them again many like to choose the celestrium. Celestrium is a jewelers alloy which has all of the visual appeal of 14kt Gold. It is almost impossible to tell the difference between the two by looking at them. I can tell because I deal with them everyday. My customers cant because they dont have a practiced eye.

The similarity ends with looks because celestrium has some properties which are very different from gold. Celestrium is much harder and will never need to be cleaned. If you want a sturdy ring that you will wear practically everyday celestrium will be the metal for you. This is a good ring to wear t work each day because it is so tough. Many younger troops will purchase this metal because it is easy on the budget and lasts a long time.

The next consideration is the style or shape of your ring. There are two differently shaped rings for men and one for women. Once you have determined which style that you want to put on your finger you are ready to get to the good stuff. The good stuff is the stuff that you will place on your ring which will display the information that you wish to share.

The wording that you will place around the stone is the first consideration. This will give the initial indication of the thing that you want the world to know. Most military retirees will use the phrase US Navy Retired around the stone. You can also name the campaigns that you have served in and the branch of service that you were in.

The next step in this progression is to choose the two designs which will show a picture to define your service. The side panels can be the crests of units that you have served in. They can also represent jobs that you have had in the military. There are even some nonmilitary designs available. Some of my customers will want to use one side of their ring to honor their mate or another loved one which is fine. You can do this by writing above the side panel whatever tribute that you want to make or anything else that you wish. I have had customers place the initials of their fallen comrades there in order to honor them.

You next choose the stone that you want to place in your ring. We have all of the birthstone colors plus several extras. People choose different stones for many different reasons. The color that you choose may have some significance to you other than a date which is fine also. Customers will choose many different stones for many other reasons also.

Lastly is the engraving. Most customers will use their name here but once again it is your choice. Many of our married customers will put a short message for their loved one if they are purchasing the ring as a gift. There are so many ways to do this that we cant name them all. This is why we recommend that you take your time and carefully consider what you want your ring to say. If you are concerned that you wont be able to get it all dont hesitate to call us at 912-877-4734 and we will be more than happy to assist.Military Ring Express
