To many people the laws, rules, and regulations set and enforced by the authorities in respect of the labor market are meant to compel employers to do the bidding of the society that would have been left undone without such government intervention.

Employers are seen as a group that is just out to maximize their profit without really putting the interest of other stakeholders in the labor circle nor the society at large into deep consideration without the prodding by different laws and those labor law posters that set their course aright for a better, safe, and conducive working relationship for all the stakeholders.

Setting the minimum wages, providing safety standards, provision of compensation packages as to envisage injuries and loss of life, setting the criteria as to the classes of people that can be employ, and regulating the general terms and conditions that guide employment is a responsibility that is deserved to be handle by an independent body that will be the adjudicating agent of both the employers and their employees. Such is the role given to those agencies of the federal government Department of Labor and the various Departments and Agencies of all the states government which arises from all the labor laws enacted and the subsequent labor laws posters to serve the purpose.
