At the end of the day, this is not an ordinary job as it requires a person who has keen observation, attentive, responsible and dedicated with the job.
As mentioned a couple of times, this is a very important piece of document. Why? Aside from it being a basis of what occurred on the previous meeting, and could be used as a source of agenda for the upcoming meeting, it also serves as evidence when company disputes arise. Well, this goes for those who for instance have made a certain arrangement during a meeting and then suddenly did something otherwise.
Yes, as mentioned, this could be put to court. That is why a corporation minutes writer should be someone reliable and dependable. Needless to say, he or she has to be honest. He or she should be as it will be pointed out to that person if there would be any dispute or any concern or wrong input in the minutes. Thus, be sure that the person who does this is really capable to do the job.
In conclusion, corporate minutes are something that has to be taken seriously. That is why there are some companies who hire people just to do the job.
