Consider Yoga For Diabetes Treatment

Diabetes is a disease which is caused due to reduced or insufficient secretion of the pancreas hormone known as the Insulin or due to increased blood sugar level in the body. The only way to control it is by performing the specific yoga for diabetes. It helps to reduce blood glucose level by making the muscles active in absorbing the excess glucose from the blood. Yoga also stimulates the pancreas for normal secretion of insulin thereby curing Diabetes.
Few poses of yoga for Diabetes:
1. Big Toe Pose- It is to touch your feet with your hand keeping your knees and legs straight. It helps in digestion and stimulates the blood circulation to all internal organs thereby liver and kidney damage is reduced.
2. Triangle pose- It is also a standing Yoga for Diabetics with your left hand touching the right feet and vice versa. It helps in improving digestion as well as the internal abdominal organs. This yoga is mainly for keeping the kidneys healthy.
3. Downward Facing Dog- Similar to all the above yoga, it also helps to improve your digestion and to calm the mind. It also helps to alleviate your blood pressure.
4. Hero pose- This yoga is to strengthen the pelvis, reduce blood pressure, improves digestion.
5. Western intense pose- this is to hold your abdomen and touch your feet keeping the lower back on the ground. Therefore it stimulates the pelvic muscles strength. It also improves problems like urinary incontinence and overactive bladder. Lastly it helps in the flow of blood to all the internal organs specially the liver and kidneys.
6. Half Lord of The Fishes- This is to twist your body to your side by keeping the lower part of the body straight. It stimulates the pancreas to secrete proper insulin and improves blood circulation. It also helps to reduce the blood pressure by reducing blood glucose level and keeps your body fit.
7. Fish pose- This is last yoga. It is for making your mind calm. It is a kind of arching by keeping your abdomen up with the help of your back.
8. Corpse pose- This is to lie down straight on the ground with body relaxed. This is to make your heart beat normal after a long yoga session.
Since Diabetes is a silent killer, a special care should be taken to control it. Besides the medicine a regular yoga for diabetes is recommended by most of the doctors. It has no side effects and cures you from the root of the disease. But you have to continue it all through out your life.
