Respecting your neighbor will cost you naught!

By: Esteri

You ought to be napping in broad daylight if you have not noticed the two-facedness of various natives of this beautiful country- Kenya.

I wonder why it is so easy for one to demand respect from another Kenyan yet so difficult for him or her to extend it to others.

There are people who are capable of changing faces just to obtain goodwill from another person who obviously got loads of what they need.

When their turn comes to show respect to those who backed them in their times of need, they disappear indefinitely, show rudeness or taint those needy people’s reputation.

You and I can spot many of our friends who abandon us in our time of need and come running later when we have plentiful.

A good percentage of us Kenyans might be aggressive lovers of God we do not see yet detestable and disrespectful of our neighbors that we can seen with our naked eyes.

I am talking about being unappreciative of all humans entirely, despite their physical appearances, businesses or careers, religion, ethnicity, character among others.

One good point I want you to note is that a man may have the whole world to him, but cannot bear the solitude; he needs another human to make the planet active and safe.

The same way you great and professional man need the small earning man to enjoy being wealthy in a healthy country.

Tell me, why do you demand respect that you can not give to yourself? No one is allowed to disrespect others except if they are nutty, not even the alcoholics or those under influence of drugs.

Respect me for who I am,

Well, the modern man may brag of the test tube babies and his wonders of science in relation to man creation, but he will never challenge God the maker of man himself.

Before you mock that fellow Kenyan who has deformity of whatever intensity, ask yourself if you can create a man such as him, given an opportunity to.

Besides if you have such a super smart body appearance and health today, tomorrow you could have any sort of disfigurements resulting from one or more of the many perils, humans are exposed to.

Show respect to God’s creation, even though you are marrying that down to earth guy or that lady whose beauty makes drivers cause accidents.

Your output(children) might be striking, so you both think, but they might be the ones to be used by God to punish you for condemning his creation in that cripple you mocked and called incomplete human!

I am not asking you to give them that intimate love that nowadays is related to physique, but the respect they deserve as worthy aspect of humankind.

They might be dark, slim, fat, brown, tall, short, but they are still potential Kenyans.

Respect my work

Have you met these extra-bossy people who do not feel flattered until they order everybody around?

You may be wellâ€"educated Kenyan, a professor to avoid mentioning your long list of degrees, but you can never be a master of everything.
