The Law of Attraction is based on the thought that like attracts like. The difficulty many run into with this notion is when they make an effort to use the Law without all the essential components; they fail to realize the desired outcome. It is similar to baking a cake without all the required ingredients. If one is missing, the cake will not come out right. It is easy to appreciate why the Law of Attraction is so appealing, but the lack of knowledge often leads to some common mistakes:

Saying the Words

Positive thinking is not just a recitation of expressions and phrases in the hopes that saying them will alter your life. These words must come with real emotions. You must believe what you are saying. If you say I deserve to get that promotion, then you must trust that it is accurate. That is when you will begin to see improvements.

All affirmations must be declared in present tense. Stating a want in the future means you are waiting for what you want. You must remain in the moment. Every affirmation must be positive. The universe always provides you what you ask for.

Shorter statements are more influential on the unconscious mind. Simply say them. Post them in places as visible reminders, if in the home, office, or automobiles.

Frustration and disappointment at not receiving your desires when you want them only keeps you out of alignment with the Law. Your dealings show that you are focusing on what you dont have yet.

When you are open, trusting, and all set to get, then Allowing comes into play. But, first intolerance must be absent for this change to happen.

Interference

Since you are meditating, the Theta Brainwave state is talking with your subconscious giving greater vivid descriptions to what you visualize as your desires and targets. You are able to visualize yourself living out your life as you having the things you want. This is your chance to remap or reprogram your mind through Theta. Otherwise, your dream will remain just that.

Take Action

Gratefulness is an essential component to manifesting goals. When you focus on a plan for the future all those things will ultimately manifest. Though, you must remember to be thankful for your whatever you are asking for whether the car, perfect weight, soul mate, European trip. The day-to-day experience is what captures your interest and what you focus your attention on grows.

Express Appreciation

The Law of Attraction gives you the authority to show gratitude. When you express appreciation, you receive more of what you are grateful for. Appreciation gives others encouraging feelings. In turn, you also draw more positive experiences in your life.
