Labor laws protect the rights of every employees and employers. These laws are posted on every establishments and offices as well as work areas as guidelines and reminders for both employees and employers. They are printed on posters known as Labor Law Poster. This kind of poster is distributed into two forms, the first one is what is known as Federal Labor Law poster that contains all the basic guidelines for both employees and employers with regards to the labor law mandated by the government, and the second one is the State Labor Law poster, which gives the labor law on that specific state only. Each state has their own style and contents with regards on their own State Labor Law posters guidelines and provisions.

In Texas, they are a number of posting requirements such as Bilingual Discrimination Notice, Notification of the Ombudsman Program, Child Labor Law, Unemployment Insurance, Texas Payment Notice, and Workers Compensation that is divided into three parts. Payment Notice indicates the dates for the pay of employees, whether it is weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly pay.

The Discrimination Law section is written into two languages, English and Spanish. It states the prohibitions on employees and employers denying equal employment right opportunities in hiring, promotion, discharge, pay, training, membership, fringe benefits, and other aspects concerning employment.

Child Labor Law section indicates guidelines and regulations regarding individuals who are under 18 years of age. This includes laws on the kind of job that can be only offered to such individuals, plus the number of their working hours.

Texas Labor Law Posters also includes three parts or sections of their workers compensation, workers compensation 5, 6, and 9. Workers compensation 9 indicates the notice regarding certain work-related communicable diseases and the workers eligibility for compensation. Workers compensations 5 and 6 are notice to employees concerning workers compensation in the state of Texas.

These Labor Law posters protect the interests of employers and employees by reminding them the laws, prohibitions and guidelines mandated by the U.S. government and the law of the state of Texas with regards to employment.

On the other hand, Safety Posters are also a big part of guidelines and reminders on safety precautions. These posters are also needed to be placed in conspicuous areas of work for both employers and employees. Poster like these is not only placed in companies and work areas, but in all public places as well.
