For more than a century, Vauxhall has maintained its stint as one of UKs biggest and most respected motoring brands. True to its words, Vauxhall has continued its quest to produce environment-friendly and fun to drive cars.

Among the new Vauxhall cars available in the market, Vauxhall Corsa is Vauxhalls second best selling model after the Vauxhall Astra. Aside from this, Corsa has been awarded a five out of five star NCAP adult occupancy rating by the European New Car Assessment Program. This award certifies that Vauxhall Corsa fairs very well in accidents.

In line with the in the market, Vauxhall Corsa features face lifted styling. Exterior has been remodeled boasting a new chrome bar extended across its width integrating the new Griffin badge combined with the re-styled bumper giving Vauxhall Corsa a solid-rock appearance. Interior and exterior features vibrant colors that captivates and soothes the eyes.

Performance wise, acceleration runs smooth giving the driver and the passengers a relaxed feeling even when going uphill and overtaking. Vauxhall Corsa offers economical fuel consumption. Chassis and steering wheels were reconfigured to enhance comfortability and stability. Vauxhall Corsas dampers, springs, anti-roll bars, rear-axle, steering gear and the electronic power steering software were improved. With these new innovations made on the new Vauxhall cars, the car holds well on the corners and is more planted on the road which results to effortless driving even in long journeys.

New Vauxhall carsparticularly the Vauxhall Corsa offers innovative technologies not normally found on other expensive brands. It includes Halogen Adaptive Forward Lighting system to enhance safety during night driving; Hill Start Assist a technology that holds the vehicle stationary on grades of three per cent or steeper for 1.5 seconds after the brake pedal is released so that you don't have to worry about those dreaded hill starts; and FlexFix Bicycle Carrier System that can be pulled out like a drawer in the rear bumper. Passengers are also ensured with enough legroom and headroom. Also, emergency equipment and first aid kit can be orderly stored on the side pocket which is located in the capacity boot.

Vauxhall Corsas engine remains quiet on the road. An optional heated steering wheel is made available for cold days. Entertainment and navigation wise, Vauxhall Corsa features eco route option which calculates the most fuel efficient route. Some controls are placed on the steering wheel which includes a five-inch Touch & Connect touch screen display featuring both 2D and 3D maps for the navigation system, as well as a CD/tuner, with USB and a 3.5mm auxiliary input, as well as Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity. The Bluetooth connectivity matches well with the iPhone and iPODs with the music library displaying on the screen.

As an overall verdict, Vauxhall Corsa has good and bad points. Good points include efficiency in fuel and the new face lifted styling. However, its satellite navigation system is placed too low and the car has underpowered engine. But despite this, Vauxhall Corsa is still a good buy because it doesnt only provide a comfortable ride even in long journeys, its also considered as a leader in powerful engines.
