Diwali is not just a festival of light; it is a time to strengthen your relationships with family and friends. a time to have fun and enjoy. Dont you have to close your ear while bursting the crackers or after listening to the sudden loud noise like a bomb?

Well, what a kind of celebration is it, when you can not see or hear any thing without any fear of damage! Is it really a celebration when one cries and the other one laughs?!! If human beings react in such a way to Diwali crackers, the situation of these animals can hardly be imagined. There are many pet owners who give anti-anxiety medicine to their pets before and during diwali to help in lowering their fear. Pet animals are still at a benefit that they have some body or the other who understand them and can pamper them at that time. However, there are uncountable stray animals all over the city and villages. They dont even have a proper shelter and there is nobody to take care of them and on the contrary people hurt them for mere enjoyment.

We need to consider them on equal ground as us because they also get hurt and cry because of pain as we do. They are no different then us and nobody has given us right to hurt anyone, be it a human being or an animal. God has made everyone equal and has given the same rights to live. So live and let live and this diwali go ahead and rectify your previous mistakes, it is never too late. Help and protect a needy animal and you would feel really good. There are many other things you can do this diwali.
