The Pyramid Game is a touch and accelerometer based game. It is developed in java (J2ME) for Nokia N97 mobile and also supports touch screen devices and devices equipped with accelerometer like Nokia Music Xpress 5800 Mobiles. Accelerometer is latest sensor technology which is used in gaming for measuring acceleration forces. These forces may be static, like the constant force of gravity pulling at our feet, or they could be dynamic - caused by moving or vibrating the accelerometer. By measuring acceleration in Pyramid game we can move the Bird and Parachute into the left or right in horizontally.

Overview:
The game is based on Egyptian setting with pyramids, sphinx and other desert assets in the background. The mythical Egyptian bird, the rising phoenix carries parts of the pyramid on its head. The game scene is vertically partitioned into five levels. Every level has a different individual point setting ranging from 50 to 10 in decreasing order from top to bottom. The danger level is placed below the level 10 pointer. The game can be played at three different levels-Easy, Medium & Hard. Depending upon the level the speed of the birds will vary. In all there are 5 different Pyramids carrying different points. Initially there will be three empty Pyramids placed at the bottom. As a pyramid is filled, it gets replaced by a new one. The game is played in endless mode. The player will fill as many pyramids as he can and will be allowed only 10 mistake in a game.


How to Play:
The bird holding the part will enter from any level. When the bird is tapped, it releases the parachuted object. On the parachute, there exists a numeric number which denotes its Destination Pyramid. The user will guide the pyramid part into the right Pyramid by using accelerometer. If rightly placed the user gets the point, associated level point where the bird is tapped. Whenever a pyramid is filled the player will earn from 100, 200, 300, 400 and maximum 500 point for the different sized pyramids and respectively it will be replaced by a new one. If a bird is not tapped on the level it entered from it comes down by one level. If it reaches below the danger level, the pyramid part gets automatically placed but the user will not earn any points for this. Similarly if the parachuted objects are not guided into the right pyramid, the part gets automatically placed and points are earned for the same. There are Boosters in the game which will appear in the game at different time phases, when taken the bird goes up by one level. To take the Booster the player has to first tap the booster and then the bird to make the booster effect.


Instructions conditions:
No Points: since the bird touches the line, the cube is released & automatically placed, so any points added.
Rebound: Parachute will rebound from the border.
Collide: Parachutes can collide with each other & move opposite direction.
Right Placement: Numbered block on right pyramid adds points.
Stats: Pyramid parts going down in two stats first one is the Bird state [before tap] and other is Parachute state [after tap].

Game Configuration Requirements:
Pyramid game (for Nokia) can be installed on any mobile which have the following required configuration:-
Accelerometer & touch based.
Screen Resolution: 360 X 640.
Should have Symbian OS(J2ME).
