This week is the week of divorce apparently as many Hollywood television and movie stars file for divorce. This week alone couple sees the demise of Scarlett Johansen and Ryan Reynolds, Elizabeth Hurley and textile tycoon ArunNire, Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter both of Dexter, and now you can add Dylan Walsh of Nip/Tuck and his wife Joanna Going is calling it quits. Most of the celebrities have only been together for two years. Going and Walsh have been together for over six years.
Nip/Tuck was star of the widely popular show about a plastic surgery practice which initially started in Miami then moved to Los Angeles. The show about the Macnamara and Troy practice was centered on the drama of the practice and the lives of the doctors. Many of the episodes included candid depictions of sex, drug use and surgical procedures. Nip/Tuck has been nominated for numerous Emmy and Golden Globe awards. The series brought to the public and inside look at plastic surgery that they wouldnt normally have, and likely made it a more palatable option for those who viewed aesthetic surgery as something only for the rich and famous. The characters on the show practiced their talents on a wide variety of individuals from all walks of life, from young to old, beautiful to ugly.
