To every society is it laws that guide the existence of all in such society including the society as entity. And for the laws to be meaningful there must be an adequate means of enforcing such laws for the betterment of the society.

The society that exists at any given workplace is a reflection of the laws of such particular workplace and the law of the greater society hosting the workplace. The employees of such business have to toe the line of the laws of the workplace while both the employer and the employees have to observe the laws set by the greater society in order for their symbiotic relationship to be allowed to continue to go on.

Taking a mining firm that is starting the manufacturing of a product in the state of Colorado as an example. After setting up shop and meeting all the conditions attached to such venture, the firm will have to employ workers that are ready to work under the conditions set by the laws of the firm. The next line of action is for the employer and the employees to fulfill the obligations set for them to have a working relationship by the State of Colorado.

The conditions set for workplace relationship for both the employees and their employer is the combination of The State of Colorado labor laws and regulations, as well as the United States labor laws and regulations under which Colorado exists as a federating state. Both laws are complementary deal with diverse technicalities of the workplace existence ranging from meeting the minimum wage rate to meeting safety and working standards of such mode of workplace and many more of terms, conditions, and criteria, some of which are set out in the form of federal labor law posters and the Colorado labor poster that the employer and employees are expected to familiarize with and observed through the placing of the most current version of the said labor law posters at the most accessible part of the workplace.

As the representatives of the employer and employees, which are the management and the unions respectively, are there to ensure that both parties interest are met according to existing norms, so also is the representatives of both the State of Colorado and United States, which are the agencies of Colorado Labor Department and agencies of the federal Department of Labor, responsible for the administration and enforcement of all the laws and regulations applicable to the particular business and it employees. The same basis exists in all the states of the federation as can be seen through a random selection of any state labor law posters.
