One of the tools that the marketing mentors has as an option is Skype. Skype is a software application program that permits users to make voice calls over the internet. Calls within the Skype service to other users are free.Calls to landline and mobile phones require a nominal fee.Additional features of Skype include instant messaging, file transfering, and video conferencing.

Another tool that can be utilized for the marketing mentor is TeamViewer. TeamViewer is a computer software package for remote control,desktop sharing, and transferring of files between computers. The main focus of the application is to enable desktop support and remote control of computers however, collaboration and presentation features are included in the package.

Webinars are another tool available for the marketing mentor. Webinars are specific types of web conferences. Usually it is one-way with the speaker addressing an audience and involves limited interaction from the audience such as a webcast.Webinars can also be collaborative and features question and answer sessions. The power of webinars if applied correctly is that they can position the marketing mentor as an expert to those who are seeking a solution to a specific issue.

Tools are of tremendous importance as a marketing mentor progresses in building a team of marketers. Automation and efficiency can make the process substantially easier and in the case of webinars further enhance the authority and expertise of the marketing mentor.The benefits that these tools bring are siginificant to the efforts of the marketing mentor.
